Connect your AI agent to Builder.io
Builder.io is a visual development platform for delivering, managing, and programmatically updating content, models, assets, and Space configuration.
Set it up in Melso
- 1In Melso, open Settings → Agent Apps and hit Connect on Builder.io.
- 2Finish the API_KEY sign-in in the window that opens. Melso stores the connection, not your credentials.
- 3Open your agent, go to its Agent Apps tab, and allow Builder.io.
- 4Give the agent a task. It calls Builder.io itself when the work needs it.
What Builder.io gives your agent
The tools, permissions, and events Builder.io exposes — the same ones your agent can use once the app is authorized.
What you sign in with
Builder.io connects with API_KEY.
Permissions
Builder.io does not break access down into granular permissions.
Tools Builder.io exposes
Create Content Entry
Create a draft, published, or archived entry in an existing Builder.io model. New entries default to draft and trigger configured webhooks unless trigger_webhooks is false.
Delete Content Entry
Delete one Builder.io content entry by model name and entry ID. Builder's Content API is CDN-cached, so reads may briefly return stale content after a successful deletion. Configured webhooks run unless trigger_webhooks is false.
