Connect your AI agent to Dify
Run and inspect a published Dify Workflow app through its Service API, including configuration and workflow run history.
Set it up in Melso
- 1In Melso, open Settings → Agent Apps and hit Connect on Dify.
- 2Finish the API_KEY sign-in in the window that opens. Melso stores the connection, not your credentials.
- 3Open your agent, go to its Agent Apps tab, and allow Dify.
- 4Give the agent a task. It calls Dify itself when the work needs it.
What Dify gives your agent
The tools, permissions, and events Dify exposes — the same ones your agent can use once the app is authorized.
What you sign in with
Dify connects with API_KEY.
Permissions
Dify does not break access down into granular permissions.
Tools Dify exposes
Get Workflow App Configuration
Return the connected Workflow app's identity, declared input form and upload limits, tool icons, and hosted-site settings. If the app is unpublished, the response identifies the unavailable parameters section while preserving the other metadata.
Get Workflow Run
Return one workflow run's status, inputs, arbitrary outputs, error, and execution metrics by run ID.
