Connect your AI agent to Mem0
Mem0 is an universal, self-improving memory layer for LLM applications.
Set it up in Melso
- 1In Melso, open Settings → Agent Apps and hit Connect on Mem0.
- 2Finish the API_KEY sign-in in the window that opens. Melso stores the connection, not your credentials.
- 3Open your agent, go to its Agent Apps tab, and allow Mem0.
- 4Give the agent a task. It calls Mem0 itself when the work needs it.
What Mem0 gives your agent
The tools, permissions, and events Mem0 exposes — the same ones your agent can use once the app is authorized.
What you sign in with
Mem0 connects with API_KEY.
Permissions
Mem0 does not break access down into granular permissions.
Tools Mem0 exposes
Add member to project
Adds an existing user to a project (identified by `project_id` within organization `org_id`), assigning a valid system role.
Add new memory records
Stores new memory records from a list of messages, optionally inferring structured content; requires association via `agent_id`, `user_id`, `app_id`, or `run_id`.
Use Mem0 from the agent you already run
Melso runs the agent. You decide which of your authorized apps it may reach.
