Connect your AI agent to Discord
An instant messaging and VoIP social platform.
Set it up in Melso
- 1In Melso, open Settings → Agent Apps and hit Connect on Discord.
- 2Finish the OAUTH2 sign-in in the window that opens. Melso stores the connection, not your credentials.
- 3Open your agent, go to its Agent Apps tab, and allow Discord.
- 4Give the agent a task. It calls Discord itself when the work needs it.
What Discord gives your agent
The tools, permissions, and events Discord exposes — the same ones your agent can use once the app is authorized.

Connect to Slack
Slack is a channel-based messaging platform. With Slack, people can work together more effectively, connect all their software tools and services, and find the information they need to do their best work - all within a secure, enterprise-grade environment.
Connect to Slackbot
Slackbot gives agents workspace-wide read access to a Slack workspace on behalf of the installing user - search messages and files, browse channel and thread history, and look up users and channels - while continuing to post and react as the bot. Includes direct messages and user email addresses so agents can search across DMs and resolve users by email.
